Kiana, Goddess of Fortune
Her family slaughtered by desert raiders, seven year old Kiana would have
perished in the ashes of her village if not for being found by the kindly Gerone.
She was raised along with the other orphaned children the old woman had
rescued, until the age of twenty when she inherited the Gem of Fortune. Kiana
now preserves law and order in the city of Oasis. Courageous, fair, and strong,
she constantly looks out for the people of the city, often at the expense of her
personal life. |

Syd, Goddess of Technology
Gerone found Syd at a baby-auction in the northern mountains. No one had
wanted to purchase the tiny girl, so she was tossed in the garbage. Syd and
her team of mechanics keep all the technology of Oasis running smoothly.
She’s smart, loud, and the biggest tomboy around. From toasters to tanks,
she can fix anything they put in front of her using nothing but her trusty
toolbelt. |

Mae, Goddess of Information
Mae is the youngest and most curious of the orphans. Gerone found her tied
up in a sack while exploring what used to be the Eastern Islands. She was
surprised at how the toddler started chatting away as soon she removed her
from the bag. The Gem of Information only amplified this by allowing her to
understand and speak all languages. Mae is in charge of the Omni-Library of
Oasis. She’s friendly, talkative, and very nosy. She always seems to have the
inside scoop on everything that goes down in the city, and has earned the
nickname the "Goddess of Gossip". |

Rynna, Goddess of Dreams
Gerone had cared for Rynna's sickly mother for her last months, and was
asked to raise the little girl after she died. Rynna was the first child the old
woman took in her charge, and learned to act as a second mother to the
younger orphans. With the influence of the Gem of Dreams, she now operates
the Great Theater of Oasis. She’s graceful, talented, and always ready to
entertain. She brings culture and art to the people of the city, and helps young
performers and artisans cultivate their craft. |

Terril, Goddess of Nature
Gerone found the twelve year old Terril living like a savage in the last forest of
the world. The rest of her tribe had been killed by a volcanic erruption, but
she had managed to survive alone for several years. Terril inherited the Gem
of Nature, and now maintains the bio-sanctuaries of the city of Oasis. She is
gentle, and shy, and feels more comfortable with the plants and animals than
with people. But her calm appearance hides great strength, which she uses to
defend the habitats she’s created. |
