Shortly after deciding to go freelance, one of our designers found that she was dealing with a whole new set of distractions. Foremost among these was her chihuahua.

It seemed that as soon as she got settled in at her desk to work, the dog would always want to be let outside, whimpering until the door opened. Then, right after she'd get back to her desk, the dog would start scratching at the door to be let back inside.

Simply walking towards her computer would cause the chihuahua to approach the door. This behavior would repeat so predictably, that it was like, well, clockwork.
