Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting and Compatibility Testing:
- Review of coding or compatibility problems of existing website.
- Detailed summary of errors located and possible fixes.
Unfortunately, we are often called in as a "clean up crew" after a client has learned that their previous website designer didn't actually know how to design a website. This is often not a case of incompetence, but pure inexperience in dealing with the various idiosyncrasies of the web. Typical issues include browser incompatibility, unreadable pages, incredibly slow loading times, dead-end links, incorrectly formatted images, use of non"browser-safe" colors, and poor utilization of frames.
While we know there's no such thing as a 100% compatible website, we will test and assess your site to see how it can be made as universally compatible as possible, then give you a full report of what needs to be done to attain this.
Troubleshooting services only cover location and assessment of the errors. If you would like us to actually fix your code, this will need to be done as a separate project. However, due to time constraints or proprietary software we may not be able to accept the job ourselves. (AKA: "Don't shoot the messenger".) |
